Baseball Recap: Comanche Beats Dublin for Their Third Straight Victory

Comanche won the last time they faced Dublin and things went their way on Friday too. Comanche walked away with an 11-8 win over Dublin. The victory was familiar territory for the Indians, who have now won three matches in a row.

Cooper Welch was incredible, going 2-for-3 with one home run, four runs, and two stolen bases. Those four runs gave him a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Cayden Davis, who scored four runs and stole a base while getting on base in all four of his plate appearances.

Comanche was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .393. That's the best batting average they've posted all season.

Comanche picked up their first home win, bumping their record up to 5-7. As for Dublin, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-8.

Coming up, Comanche will take on Millsap at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Comanche is facing Millsap at the right time seeing as Millsap is stuck on a five-game losing streak. As for Dublin, they will face off against Breckenridge at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Breckenridge will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something Dublin surely won't give up without a fight.
