Fayette County had already won eight in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 38.1 points) and they went ahead and made it nine on Saturday. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as  they  averaged 68.3 points per game. As for Sandy Creek, their loss  ended  a  six-game streak of away wins  and  brought them to 13-4.
