Recap: Antelope Titans vs. Inderkum Tigers
After flying high against the River Valley Falcons last Friday, The Antelope Titans came back down to earth. Antelope was outmatched by Inderkum on the road and fell 56-7. Antelope was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 42-7.
It was another big night for Ricky Cole, who threw for 205 yards and six touchdowns, and also punched in a touchdown on the ground. Cole is on a roll when it comes to passing touchdowns, as he's now passed for three or more in the last four games he's played. Aziel Rios was in the mix as well, providing Inderkum with two touchdowns.
Inderkum's defense stepped up as well, laying out the QB ten times. Leading the way was Bryant Fleming and his two sacks.
Antelope is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matchups, which is still a better percentage than their 3-7 record this season. As for Inderkum, the win (which was their ninth in a row) raised their record to 9-1.
Antelope does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Inderkum will be playing in front of their home fans against Pleasant Grove at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Pleasant Grove will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps California Rankings (they are ranked 347th, while Inderkum is ranked 92nd).
