There's no place like home for Beauregard, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Tuesday. They put the hurt on the Smiths Station Panthers with a sharp 3-0 win on Thursday. The victory continues a trend for the Hornets in their matchups with the Panthers: they've now won eight in a row.

While Beauregard won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the third set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-21, 25-9, 25-22.

Kam Torbert paced Beauregard's offense, picking up nine kills. Torbert got some help from Anna Marie Conway and her 11 assists. Torbert was also solid from the service line: she led the team with five aces.
