Basketball Recap: Greenville Takes a Loss

Greenville won a close one the last time they played, but unfortunately they suffered a serious change of fortune on Friday. They were outmatched by the Carrabec Cobras and fell 64-29. The match marked the Lakers' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Greenville's defeat dropped their record down to 5-10. As for Carrabec, they have been performing well recently as they've won eight of their last ten contests, which provided a nice bump to their 13-4 record this season.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Greenville will host Schenck at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. Schenck will roll in looking for their 18th straight win, something Greenville surely won't give up without a fight. As for Carrabec, they will be playing at home against Telstar at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
