Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Green). They put the hurt on the Clay Panthers with a sharp 78-57 victory on Friday. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 77-48 last Tuesday.

Green pushed their record up to 9-9 with the win, which was their third straight at home. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 67.7 points per game. As for Clay, they are on an 18-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-16.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. A feisty cat fight is on tap when the Green Bobcats take on the Glenwood Tigers at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Green is facing Glenwood at the right time seeing as Glenwood is stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Clay, they will look to defend their home court on Saturday against Wellston at 7:30 p.m.
