Soccer Recap: Western Hills Snaps Three-Game Streak of Wins on the Road

Western Hills lost against Diamond Hill-Jarvis back in February, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Western Hills Cougars took a 4-2 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Diamond Hill-Jarvis Eagles. While losing is never fun, the Cougars can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas soccer rankings (they are ranked 605th, while the Eagles are ranked 150th).

Western Hills' loss ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 9-8-2. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored eight goals over those three games. As for Diamond Hill-Jarvis, the victory was the 16th in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 19-2.

Western Hills has already played their next matchup, a 3-1 defeat against Southwest on the 14th. As for Diamond Hill-Jarvis, they also didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next contest, a 6-0 win against Eastern Hills on the 14th.
