Baseball Recap: Charles City Takes a Loss

Charles City was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 18th straight defeat dating back to last season. They came up short against the Crestwood Cadets, falling 9-3. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Cadets this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 5-4 on Tuesday.

Charles City's loss dropped their record down to 0-10. As for Crestwood, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-8.

Charles City wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next match, a 10-7 defeat against Decorah-North Winneshiek on the 13th. As for Crestwood, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 10-3 win against South Winneshiek on the 11th.
