After a string of eight wins, Analy's good fortune finally ran out on Saturday. They fell 2-0 to the Menlo-Atherton Bears.

Magnus Niedermair paced Analy's offense, picking up four kills. Niedermair got some help from Bryce Williams and his seven assists.

Menlo-Atherton found their leader in sophomore Coen Chou, who had ten assists and four digs. That's the most digs Chou has posted over his last five matches.

Analy's loss dropped their record down to 10-3. As for Menlo-Atherton, the victory was the 12th in a row for them, bringing their record up to 17-1.

Looking ahead, a feisty cat fight will be fought as Analy Tigers face off against Rancho Cotate Cougars at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Menlo-Atherton, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 2-0 win against College Park on the 22nd.
