Basketball Recap: Fort Dodge Takes a Loss

Fort Dodge was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat dating back to last season. They took a 62-57 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Lincoln Railsplitters. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Dodgers of the 59-36 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in December of 2023.

Fort Dodge's defeat dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Lincoln, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-0.

Fort Dodge will head out on the road to square off against Waterloo East at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Lincoln, they will be playing at home against Des Moines North at 7:45 p.m. on Friday.
