Baseball Recap: Capital Takes a Loss

Capital lost against Eldorado on Monday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Jaguars came up short against the Golden Eagles, falling 21-2. The Jaguars have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Capital's loss dropped their record down to 9-8. As for Eldorado, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 12-5.

Looking ahead, Capital will challenge Robertson at 3:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Jaguars' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Cardinals have averaged an impressive 8.8 runs per game this season. As for Eldorado, they will head out to challenge La Cueva at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (the Golden Eagles 3.9, the Bears 3.8) so any runs scored will be well earned.
