Flores has been hot recently, having also posted three or more steals the last three times he's played. Another player making a difference was Derrick Tran, who posted 11 points.

Meanwhile, Cindy Avitia lost to Luis Valdez Leadership Academy at home by a 54-36 margin on Saturday.

Cindy Avitia has also traveled a rocky road recently having lost four of their last five contests, which has put a noticeable dent in their 6-11 record this season. As for KIPP Navigate College Prep, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-7.

KIPP Navigate College Prep beat Cindy Avitia 46-33 in their previous meeting back in December of 2024. The rematch might be a little tougher for KIPP Navigate College Prep since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
