Soccer Game Preview: Aurora vs. York

The Aurora Huskies are taking a road trip to take on the York Dukes on Tuesday. Aurora's offense has struggled lately (the team hasn't scored more than a single goal for four straight games), a trend the team is no doubt ready to end.

Aurora fell victim to Waverly and their airtight defense on Saturday. They lost 3-0 to the Vikings.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for York, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Thursday. They had just enough and edged out Holdrege 1-0. York haven't had any issues with Holdrege recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive victory against them.

York's one-goal win came courtesy of Ayanna Miller, which was the first she's scored this season.

York's win bumped their record up to 3-9. As for Aurora, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-10.

Aurora beat York by a goal in their previous matchup back in April of 2025, winning 1-0. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Huskies since the team won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
