Baseball Recap: Glendale Comes Up Short

Glendale was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their tenth straight loss. They lost 16-1 to the Crescenta Valley Falcons. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Falcons this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 9-0 last Tuesday.

Glendale's defeat dropped their record down to 0-10. As for Crescenta Valley, they pushed their record up to 7-2 with the victory, which was their fifth straight at home.

Glendale didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 5-4 win against Maywood CES on the 17th. As for Crescenta Valley, they will face off against Pasadena at 3:45 p.m. on Tuesday. Crescenta Valley is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 7.1 runs per game this season.
