Basketball Recap: Augustine Prep Takes a Loss

Augustine Prep was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They were outmatched by the Dominican Knights and fell 73-14. While losing is never fun, the Lions can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Wisconsin basketball rankings (they are ranked 423rd, while the Knights are ranked 96th).

Augustine Prep's defeat dropped their record down to 5-13. As for Dominican, they are on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last 11 matches, which provided a nice bump to their 13-6 record this season.

Augustine Prep wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 45-29 loss against Wauwatosa West on the 4th. Dominican has also already played their next game, a 72-26 defeat against The Prairie School on the 4th.
