            Davidson lost against Baldwin County last Friday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result  on Tuesday. Davidson fell just short of Baldwin County by a score of  4-3.

 Adyn Scott put in work no matter where he played. On the mound, he  tossed six innings while giving up just two earned  (and two unearned) runs off   five  hits. What's more,  he posted two  strikeouts, the most he's  had since back in February. He was also big at the plate,  scoring two  runs and  stealing a base while going 1-for-3. Davidson is 2-1 when  Scott posts two or  more  runs, but 4-8 otherwise.
 In other batting news,  Gus Jones made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and  scored a  run and  stole two bases while going 1-for-2. Those  two  stolen bases gave  him a new career-high. Another player making a difference was  Brian Davis, who  went 2-for-3 with two  RBI.
Davidson's loss dropped their record down to 6-9. As for Baldwin County, they are  on a roll lately: they've  won four of their last five matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 8-11 record  this season.
 Davidson will take on Saraland at 6:30  p.m.  on Thursday. As for Baldwin County, they are taking a road trip to  square off against Gulf Shores  at 5:00  p.m.  on Thursday.
