Duxbury strolled into their game on Monday with a perfect record and they left with the same. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Marshfield Rams. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Dragons also won the last time the pair played back in October of 2024.

Duxbury never let Marshfield on the board, but things got pretty close in the second set. The match finished with set scores of 25-14, 25-22, 25-17.

Avery McCash paced Duxbury's offense, picking up seven kills. McCash got some help from Valentina Torres and her 19 assists. Maria Torres controlled things from the service line, finishing with seven aces.

Duxbury's record is now 9-0. As for Marshfield, their defeat dropped their record down to 7-3.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Duxbury is set to challenge their familiar foe North Quincy at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Meanwhile, Marshfield will square off against rival Scituate at 5:15 p.m. on Wednesday.
