Softball Game Preview: County Line Indians vs. Cedarville Pirates

The County Line Indians will challenge the Cedarville Pirates at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

County Line is probably headed into the matchup with a chip on their shoulder considering Scranton just ended the team's three-game winning streak on Tuesday. They came up short against the Rockets, falling 13-1. The contest marked the Indians' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

County Line saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Olivia Reames, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with one RBI.

Meanwhile, Cedarville lost 14-4 to Westside on Tuesday.

County Line's defeat dropped their record down to 8-3. As for Cedarville, their loss dropped their record down to 1-10.

Everything went County Line's way against Cedarville when the teams last played back in March of 2025, as County Line made off with an 11-2 victory. Do the Indians have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Pirates turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
