Baseball Game Preview: Eastern Quakers vs. Jackson Vikings

Eastern hasn't had much luck against Jackson recently, but that could start to change on Thursday. The Quakers will venture away from home to take on the Vikings at 4:00 p.m. Considering both teams were shutout in their prior games, the pair is probably coming into this one with something to prove.

Eastern fell victim to Haslett and their airtight pitching crew on Tuesday. They came up short against the Vikings, falling 16-0.

Chelsea hit Jackson with a 17-run first inning on Tuesday, which goes a long way in explaining the final result. The Vikings lost 21-0 to the Bulldogs.

Eastern's loss dropped their record down to 2-17. As for Jackson, their defeat dropped their record down to 6-13.

Eastern couldn't quite get it done against Jackson in their previous meeting back in May of 2025 as they fell 6-1. Can the Quakers avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
