Jacksonville Christian Academy extended their winning streak to six on Friday, bumping them up to 20-4. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Community Christian Cyclones. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-0 back in September.

As for Community Christian, they moved to 19-4 with that loss, which also ended their nine-match winning streak. Considering the last time they couldn't score was back in September, the team can't take the result too hard.

Community Christian's loss came despite strong showings from Emilee Finberg and Payton Bush. Finberg had nine kills and one assist, while Bush had four aces and one assist. Finberg is on a roll when it comes to kills, as she's now had five or more in each of the last 12 games she's played.

Jacksonville Christian Academy didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 3-1 defeat against New Bern Christian Academy on the 18th. As for Community Christian, they have also already played their next contest, a 3-1 win against Trinity Christian on the 18th.
