Basketball Recap: Stansbury Comes Up Short

Stansbury was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They were outmatched by the Dixie Flyers and fell 70-43. The Stallions were not able to make up for their defeat to the Flyers from their previous meeting back in December of 2023.

Stansbury's record now sits at 5-8. As for Dixie, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests, which provided a nice bump to their 8-4 record this season.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Stansbury will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Murray at 7:00 p.m. on January 7, 2025. Dixie also won't see the court for a while: their next game is against Pine View at 7:00 p.m. on January 7, 2025.
