Recap: Horizon Hawks vs. Trinity Prep Saints
It may have taken overtime to finish the job, but the Horizon Hawks ultimately got the result they hoped for on Wednesday. They managed a 62-58 win over Trinity Prep. Having run the score up that high, both teams probably have some extra defensive drills coming up.
Horizon was led to victory by Adonys Christo and Diego Rojas. Christo scored 20 points, while Rojas scored 22 points along with 5 rebounds and 3 steals. That makes it two consecutive games in which Christo has scored at least 25% of Horizon's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Zack Hawk, who scored 11 points.
Horizon now has a winning record of 2-1. As for Trinity Prep, their loss dropped their record down to 1-4.
Horizon will head out on the road to face off against East River at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. East River is currently enjoying a perfect season and no doubt want to keep things rolling. As for Trinity Prep, they will look to defend their home court on Friday against Windermere Prep at 7:30 p.m.
