Football Recap: Beebe Takes a Loss

After flying high against Watson Chapel last Friday, Beebe came back down to earth. The Badgers came up short against the Searcy Lions on Thursday, falling 49-27. The Badgers were down 35-13 at the end of the third quarter, which was just too much to recover from.

When it comes to explaining why Beebe lost, don't look at Curtis Goodrich. Despite the final result, he rushed for 177 yards and one touchdown. Goodrich's rushing production has been exceptional as that marked his sixth straight game with at least 127 rushing yards.

Beebe's loss dropped their record down to 6-4. As for Searcy, they pushed their record up to 9-1 with the victory, which was their fifth straight on the road.

As of now, neither Beebe nor the Lions have any future games scheduled.
