Volleyball Recap: Eisenhower Extends Winning Streak to Seven

Eisenhower had already won six in a row and they went ahead and made it seven on Saturday. They walked away with a 2-0 win over the Hutchinson Salthawks. That's more bragging rights for the Tigers, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

While Eisenhower won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the second set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-19, 26-24.

Their offense was headlined by Sydney Nance and Ava McNaught, who picked up seven kills apiece. They got some help from Emilee George and her ten assists. Nance was also solid from the service line: she led the team with three aces.

Eisenhower's victory bumped their record up to 9-4. As for Hutchinson, their loss dropped their record down to 10-3-2.

Coincidentally, Eisenhower and Hutchinson will both be playing Valley Center the next time they take the court. The Salthawks will host the Hornets at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, while the Tigers will play them later in the day, at 1:00 p.m.
