Baseball Recap: Dublin Takes a Loss

Dublin lost against Peaster last Tuesday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Dublin Lions lost 19-1 to the Peaster Greyhounds. The Lions just can't catch a break and have now endured four defeats in a row.

Dublin saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Aaron Rodriguez, who scored a run while going 1-for-2.

Dublin's loss dropped their record down to 6-6. As for Peaster, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 7-6-1.

Looking ahead, Dublin will take on Comanche at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Dublin has given up an average of 7.5 runs per game this season, so hopefully the team got some pitching drills in this week. As for Peaster, they and Millsap will meet in a dog eat dog contest at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Millsap has struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 7.62 runs per game on average), something Peaster will no doubt try to take advantage of.
