Softball Recap: Cypress Springs Comes Up Short

Cypress Springs fell victim to Langham Creek and their airtight pitching crew on Friday. They came up short against the Lobos, falling 18-0. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Lobos this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 16-0 back in March.

Cypress Springs has also traveled a rocky road recently, having lost seven of their last eight matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 2-11-1 record this season. As for Langham Creek, they are on a roll lately: they've won 16 of their last 17 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 19-4 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Cypress Springs is set to square off against their familiar foe Cypress Woods at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Langham Creek will challenge rival Waller at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
