King had won two straight games and Aj Trimboli did his part to make it three on Thursday. The King Vikings came within five points of losing the streak, but they secured a 94-89 W against the Hamden Hall Country Day Hornets thanks in part to Trimboli, who went 7-for-13 from beyond the arc on his way to 43 points along with seven boards and six assists. His afternoon made it nine games in a row in which he has scored at least 16 points.

Griffin Joo was another key player, dropping a double-double with 13 points and ten rebounds. The dominant performance also gave him a new career-high in assists (five).

King's win bumped their record up to 16-6. As for Hamden Hall Country Day, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-5.
