Baseball Recap: Clinton Wins Going Away Against Macarthur

Clinton never let their opponents score on Monday. Everything went their way against the MacArthur Generals as they made off with an 11-0 victory. That 11 run margin sets a new team best for the Maroons this season.

Josh Bass was incredible, firing off two home runs and five RBI while going 3-for-3. He has become a key player for Clinton: the team is undefeated when he posts at least three RBI, but 8-12 otherwise. Jack Manning was another key player, going 1-for-4 with two runs, one stolen base, and two RBI.

Clinton's win bumped their record up to 11-12. As for MacArthur, they are on a 12-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-14.

Clinton wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next game, a 10-9 victory against Central A & M on the 6th. As for MacArthur, they have also already played their next match, an 18-3 loss against Rochester on the 6th.
