Basketball Recap: Bishop Mcdevitt Snaps Five-Game Streak of Losses at Home

Bishop McDevitt won the last time they faced Camp Hill and things went their way on Thursday too. Everything went the Bishop McDevitt Crusaders' way against the Camp Hill Lions as the Bishop McDevitt Crusaders made off with a 71-49 victory. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Crusaders.

Bishop McDevitt's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Damir Arp, who went 7 of 14 on his way to 17 points and five rebounds. The contest was Arp's third in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Patrick Denisco, who went 5 of 9 on his way to 11 points and five assists.

Bishop McDevitt's win ended a five-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 2-1. As for Camp Hill, they are on a four-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-3.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Bishop McDevitt will take on Trinity in a holiday battle at at 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday. One thing working in Trinity's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points every time they've taken the court this season. Camp Hill and Boiling Springs will compete for holiday cheer at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Boiling Springs is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 57.6 points per game this season.
