Adding to the longest winning streak in Valle Vista this week, Pomona beat Baldwin Park 61-21. The win marks eighth in a row for the the Red Devils.

Pomona moved up to 366 from 411 in the state rankings this week, the biggest jump in the league. Aaron Jamieson's team climbed the ranks as a result of defeating the Braves 61-21.

The Red Devils' offense was tough to stop this week, as it produced the league's top passer, rusher and receiver. Darreon Lockett threw for 253 and 6 touchdowns and Shawn Wilson had 127 yards receiving. On the ground Lockett contributed 182 yards. Desmond Bobo helped Pomona's passing attack out by catching 7 balls for 96 yards.

Pomona's dynamic duo of Lockett and Wilson proved tough for Baldwin Park to stop, as they were the top passer and receiver in the league this week. Bobo helped Pomona's passing attack out by catching 7 balls for 96 yards.

He was 20-27 with 1 interception.

Leading the league in both passing and receiving yards, Chris Williams' team's Michael Moran and Raymen Baraza have proven to be a lethal combination. 5-9 quarterback Moran has thrown for 2,325 yards this season, while Baraza has 50 catches for 840 yards. Pearnell Smalley IV from Covina leads the league in rushing with 954 yards.

The Colts' Smalley IV is a mere 46 yards away from breaking the 1,000-rushing-yards mark for the season. In 139 carries Smalley IV has accumulated 954 yard this year.

One of Valle Vista's premier quarterbacks will go head-to-head with its top pass rusher when the Braves and Northview face off next week.

A big matchup in the league this week will be when Baldwin Park takes on the Vikings. The Braves are currently in third, while Northview is in second.

Wilson fell to Marcel Perez's team 49-8 last week, the largest margin of any game.
