Game recap: Godby High School Football Team defeats Florida State University

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. - Godby (Tallahassee, Fla.) snapped the five-game winning streak of Florida State University (Tallahassee, Fla.), with a 41-21 victory on Saturday.

After taking the lead on a touchdown run by Carlos Williams, the Seminoles went into halftime with a 14-7 lead. The Cougars took the lead for good with a Kenny Young touchdown run in the third quarter.

With the win Godby extended its winning streak to seven games. Godby defeated Rickards 38-22 last week.

The loss comes after Florida State University defeated East Gadsden 35-18 last week.
