Volleyball Recap: Hunter Comes Up Short

If Hunter was riding high fresh off their 3-0 takedown of East on Wednesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Wolverines fell 3-1 to the Murray Spartans on Thursday. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Wolverines of the 3-1 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in September of 2018.

The match finished with set scores of 25-15, 18-25, 25-22, 25-14.

Hunter's defeat dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Murray, their victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 3-0.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Hunter will venture away from home to challenge Logan at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Murray, they are packing up and heading out for their first away game of the season: they will square off against Deseret Peak at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.
