Softball Game Preview: Northeastern Eagles vs. Camden County Bruins

Northeastern is 0-10 against Camden County since March of 2016 but things could change on Tuesday. Northeastern will be playing in front of their home fans against Camden County at 5:30 p.m. Camden County took a loss in their last contest and will be looking to turn the tables on Northeastern, who comes in off a win.

Northeastern is headed in fresh off scoring the most runs they have all season. They blew past Hertford County 15-5 on Friday. The win continues a trend for the Eagles in their matchups with the Bears: they've now won six in a row.

Meanwhile, Camden County suffered their closest loss since March 8, 2024 on Friday. They fell just short of First Flight by a score of 6-4. The Bruins have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Camden County's defeat dropped their record down to 6-4. As for Northeastern, their victory (their first of the season) made their record 1-12.

Northeastern might still be hurting after the 28-1 loss they got from Camden County in their previous meeting back in April of 2024. Can Northeastern avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
