Great Plains (9 Man) recap September 17, 2013

Shane Koster of Tripp-Delmont/Armour ran for the longest rushing play in Great Plains (9 Man) this season against Gayville-Volin last week. Koster scampered for 88 yards on the play and finished with 131 on the day as his team lost to the Raiders.

Marty Indian fell to Platte/Geddes/Dakota Christian 60-14 last week, the largest margin of any game.

Tripp-Delmont/Armour's dynamic duo of Koster and Cody Hrdlicka proved to be unstoppable against Gayville-Volin, as they were the top passer and receiver in the league this week. Koster threw for 31 yards and Hrdlicka had 31 yards receiving.

Tom Sattler's team's dynamic duo of Koster and Hrdlicka proved tough for Patrick Beeman's team to stop, as they were the top passer and receiver in the league this week.

Koster put up the best numbers in passing as the Nighthawks lost to the Raiders.

Turner Serr was a force in the backfield as South Central co-op [Bonesteel-Fairfax/Burke] defeated Andes Central.

Hrdlicka was the best wideout in the league this week as Tripp-Delmont/Armour fell to Gayville-Volin.

Serr was the most successful running back in the league this week. He ran for 356 yards on 26 carries as the Cougars fell to the Raiders. Levi Schonebaum also contributed to the rushing game with 68 yards on the ground.

Serr provided a threat through the air and on the ground as South Central co-op [Bonesteel-Fairfax/Burke] bested the Eagles.

Colome's Terrance Kinzer and Reed Harter have formed a dynamic duo this season, leading Great Plains (9 Man) in both passing and receiving yards. 6-1 quarterback Kinzer has thrown for 239 yards this season, while Harter has 6 catches for 123 yards. Mike Sebern's team's Serr leads the league in rushing yards with 441.

A big matchup in the league this week will be when Gayville-Volin takes on the Cougars. The Raiders are currently in fifth, while South Central co-op [Bonesteel-Fairfax/Burke] is in second.

The Cougars led the league in scoring this week by notching 52 points on Andes Central. Serr during the win.
