Volleyball Recap: Cleburne Takes Loss Despite Strong Performances from Haley Price and Jaci Thompson

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Cleburne can now relate to. They lost 3-0 to the Paschal Panthers on Thursday.

Jaci Thompson and Haley Price certainly did their best on Thursday to avoid the loss. Thompson had 14 assists and nine digs, while Price had 16 assists and five digs. Price has been hot, having posted 16 or more assists the last five times she's played.

Ava Dyer was a one-woman wrecking crew For Paschal. as she had 25 digs and four assists. That's the most digs Dyer has posted since back in September.

Cleburne's loss dropped their record down to 15-22. As for Paschal, they are on a roll lately: they've won 14 of their last 15 matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 24-16 record this season.

Cleburne does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Paschal, they will square off against Aledo at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
