Soccer Recap: Northwest Cabarrus vs. South Rowan
Northwest Cabarrus stacked a 13th blowout win onto their ever-increasing hoard on Tuesday. They never let the South Rowan Raiders onto the board and left with a 7-0 victory. Megan Story was a massive factor in the win as she booted in three goals all by herself.
The win was the third in a row for Northwest Cabarrus, bringing their record for this year to 14-2. As for South Rowan, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 9-7.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Northwest Cabarrus will face off against Concord at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for South Rowan, they will head out on the road to square off against Central Cabarrus at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. South Rowan will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps North Carolina Rankings (they are ranked 284th, while Central Cabarrus is ranked 128th).
