Piketon had to travel to play their first game of the season, but the final result was worth the trip. They blew past the Western Indians 3-0 on Monday. This was payback for the Redstreaks, who suffered a 3-2 defeat the last time these two teams met.

While Piketon won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the second set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-15, 25-23, 25-21.

Coming up, Piketon is taking a road trip to face off against Manchester at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Western, they will welcome Peebles at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
