Basketball Game Preview: Eldorado Golden Eagles vs. West Mesa Mustangs

The Eldorado Golden Eagles and the West Mesa Mustangs will face off at 5:15 p.m. on Wednesday without much rest having both just played. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, both will really light up the scoreboard.

Eldorado will head into Tuesday's game out to bounce back: they won a close one the last time they played, but unfortunately they suffered a serious change of fortune on Tuesday. They were outmatched by Rio Rancho and fell 89-59.

Meanwhile, West Mesa faced Hope Christian in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Tuesday. West Mesa fell just short of Hope Christian by a score of 59-56. The Mustangs haven't had much luck with the Huskies recently, as the team's come up short the last four times they've met.

Eldorado now has a losing record at 5-6. As for West Mesa, their loss ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 7-3.
