Baseball Game Preview: Rockwood Tigers vs. Oakdale Eagles

For the second straight game, Rockwood will face off against Oakdale. Rockwood will head out to square off against Oakdale at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Rockwood is looking for their season's first win.

Rockwood is headed in fresh off scoring the most runs they have all season. They lost 13-4 to Oakdale on Monday.

For Oakdale's part, Bryson King made a splash while hitting and pitching. On the mound, he didn't allow a single earned run while striking out ten over five innings pitched. King also tossed no earned runs, which is notable because Oakdale is 2-1 when he allows at most three earned runs, but 2-5 otherwise. King was also big at the plate, scoring a run and stealing a base while going 1-for-3.

In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Austin Williams, who scored two runs and stole three bases while getting on base in all four of his plate appearances. He also put up two hits, which were his first of the season. Waylon Turner was another key player, scoring two runs and stealing a base while going 2-for-4.
