Basketball Recap: Gilman Takes a Loss

Gilman lost against Phillips back in February of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Gilman Pirates took a 63-51 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Phillips Loggers. The Pirates have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Gilman's loss dropped their record down to 6-12. As for Phillips, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six games, which provided a nice bump to their 12-5 record this season.

Coming up, Gilman will head out to square off against Loyal at 7:15 p.m. on Thursday. As for Phillips, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 63-51 victory against Chetek-Weyerhaeuser on the 11th.
