Basketball Recap: Creekview Takes a Loss

After flying high against Turner on Tuesday, Creekview came back down to earth. The matchup between the Mustangs and the Wakeland Wolverines didn't end well, with the Mustangs falling 76-58. The Mustangs have struggled against the Wolverines recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive lost matchup.

Creekview's loss dropped their record down to 13-8. As for Wakeland, they have been performing well recently as they've won ten of their last 12 games. That's provided a nice bump to their 14-8 record this season.

Creekview will be playing in front of their home fans against The Colony at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday. The Mustangs will be up against the Cougars' rather soft defense (which has allowed 56.41 points per contest), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for Wakeland, they are taking a road trip to take on Lone Star at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday.
