Recap: Community School of Davidson Spartans vs. West Caldwell Warriors
On Wednesday, Community School of Davidson got the win against West Caldwell by a conclusive 50-27. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Community School of Davidson.
Leading Community School of Davidson to victory were Olivia Stewart and Tyler Baughan. Stewart scored 17 points along with 8 rebounds, while Baughan scored 11 points along with 8 steals and 5 rebounds. Molly Feighery was another key contributor, scoring 10 points along with 9 rebounds.
West Caldwell's lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Cheyenne Brittain, who scored 11 points along with 5 rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Amazin Icenhour, who scored 6 points.
Community School of Davidson's victory bumped their record up to 2-0. As for West Caldwell, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 0-2.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Community School of Davidson will take on Legion Collegiate Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for West Caldwell, they will look to defend their home court on Friday against Hibriten at 6:30 p.m. Hibriten and West Caldwell are at an even 5-5 over their past ten head-to-heads.
