Basketball Game Preview: Trinity Lutheran Saints vs. Bonanza Antlers

The Trinity Lutheran Saints will square off against the Bonanza Antlers at 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.

Bonanza will be up against a hot Trinity Lutheran squad: the team just extended their winning streak to four. Trinity Lutheran simply couldn't be stopped on Friday as they easily beat Oakridge 76-23. Given the Saints' advantage in MaxPreps' Oregon basketball rankings (they are ranked 51st, while the Warriors are ranked 263rd), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Meanwhile, Bonanza entered their tilt with Lowell on Friday with three consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with four. They blew past the Devils 78-53.

Bonanza pushed their record up to 15-3 with the win, which was their third straight at home. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 70.7 points per game. As for Trinity Lutheran, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven contests, which provided a nice bump to their 12-8 record this season.

Trinity Lutheran strolled past Bonanza in their previous meeting back in January by a score of 67-51. Does Trinity Lutheran have another victory up their sleeve, or will Bonanza turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
