Annapolis has gone a perfect 3-0 against Inter-City Baptist recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Friday. The Cougars are taking a road trip to challenge the Chargers at 7:00 p.m. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Annapolis has three straight wins, Inter-City Baptist has three straight losses), but none of that matters once you're on the field.

Annapolis' pitching crew heads into the matchup hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Wednesday. They put the hurt on Robichaud with a sharp 21-0 victory. The Cougars might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won six contests by six runs or more this season.

Meanwhile, Inter-City Baptist came up short against Novi Christian Academy on Thursday and fell 8-5.

Easton Anthony made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went 2-for-4 with two runs, two doubles, and one stolen base. Those doubles marked the first that he has hit this season. Another player making a difference was Luke Harrison, who went 3-for-4 with three RBI.

Annapolis pushed their record up to 6-7 with the win, which was their third straight at home. The home victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.0 run on average over those games. As for Inter-City Baptist, they suffered their first road defeat, dropping their record down to 5-3.

Annapolis was able to grind out a solid win over Inter-City Baptist when the teams last played back in May of 2023, winning 8-4. Will the Cougars repeat their success, or do the Chargers have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
