Softball Recap: Blanco Takes a Loss

Blanco managed to slip by Natalia the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Panthers lost 12-2 to the Mustangs on Tuesday.

Landry Meyer made the most of her time in the batter's box despite the final result and went 2-for-3 with one triple, one run, and one double.

Blanco's defeat dropped their record down to 6-9-1. As for Natalia, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matchups. That's provided a massive bump to their 8-8 record this season.

Blanco will venture away from home to take on Wimberley at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. The Panthers' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Texans have averaged an impressive 8.9 runs per game this season. As for Natalia, they will be playing at home against Bandera at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Mustangs are facing the BULLDOGS at the right time seeing as the BULLDOGS are stuck on a ten-game losing streak.
