Basketball Recap: KIPP Atlanta Collegiate Comes Up Short

KIPP Atlanta Collegiate was the 53-43 winner over Therrell when they last played one another back in December of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The KIPP Atlanta Collegiate Warriors lost 61-36 to the Therrell Panthers on Friday.

It was another big night for Azil Hazzard, who dropped a double-double on 29 points and 15 boards for Therrell. Another player making a difference was Madison Hamilton, who posted six points and 13 rebounds.

KIPP Atlanta Collegiate has been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 10-8 record this season. As for Therrell, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests, which provided a nice bump to their 5-7 record this season.

KIPP Atlanta Collegiate has already played their next game, a 96-68 victory against Washington on the 25th. As for Therrell, they will take on Hapeville Charter at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
