Basketball Recap: Rothsay Find Success

Rothsay's game last Tuesday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Thursday. They walked away with a 61-49 win over the Clinton-Graceville-Beardsley Wolverines. This was a revenge game for the Tigers: when they faced off against the Wolverines back in December of 2024, they had to take a 74-69 defeat.

Rothsay's victory bumped their record up to 7-10. As for Clinton-Graceville-Beardsley, they have also been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last seven contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 8-12 record this season.

Rothsay has already played their next match (against Brandon/Evansville), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Clinton-Graceville-Beardsley will challenge Ashby at 7:15 p.m. on February 6th.
