Soccer Recap: Dunedin Comes Up Short

Dunedin pushed their score to eight the last time they played Calvary Christian, but on Friday they couldn't quite do it again. The Dunedin Falcons took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Calvary Christian Warriors. The Falcons have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Dunedin's loss was their first in the district, dropping their district record down to 2-1 and their overall record down to 5-3. As for Calvary Christian, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 5-4.

After both having extra time off, Dunedin and Largo will shake off the cobwebs and square off against one another at 6:00 p.m. on January 7, 2025. As for Calvary Christian, they will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Berkeley Prep at 5:30 p.m. on January 7, 2025.
