Franklin's game last Tuesday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Friday. They put the hurt on the Socorro Bulldogs with a sharp 5-0 victory. Considering the Cougars have won eight matchups by more than two goals this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

They hit Socorro with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Scarlett Orwig (2), Ainsleigh Thomson (2), and Milea Crosby.

Franklin's win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 11-5. The wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only given up zero goals over those three games. As for Socorro, they have been struggling recently as they've lost eight of their last nine contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-11 record this season.
