The defeat continues a trend for the Marksmen in their meetings with the Bulldogs: they've now lost six in a row.

Sherwood's loss dropped their record down to 9-7. As for El Dorado Springs, their victory bumped their record up to 11-8.

Sherwood didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 7-6 win against Adrian on the 2nd. As for El Dorado Springs, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next matchup, a 2-0 victory against Versailles on the 2nd.
